From the Journal, Monday, May 26, 1913: “Emile O. Roch, died yesterday…born in New Orleans, 45 years ago…business with his father and brother…leaves wife and two daughter: Misses Viola and Alive…oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Roch; brother Eugene Roch; two sisters, Mrs. Sidney Bell and Mrs. Elise Simon of Tennessee.”  He is buried in the Roch family plot.
