From Journal Saturday January 7: “Charles Lee Simpson, 70, died Friday…retired chief machinist’s mate in the Navy…survivors: two sisters, Mrs. Florence Fessler of PA, and Mrs. Grace Wilkins (buried 3-40) of Pensacola…Waters & Hibbert’s in charge.”  He is buried in the R.W. Simpson plot, and his stone says “Brother”.
