Augustus Stuckey, his wife Louisa J. (b.ca1830 FL), and seven children are listed in the 1870 census of Walton County.  Their known children, all born in Florida, were: Elizabeth K. (1854-1912; mar. Mr. Drew), James M. (1856-1928; buried 3-33), Sarah (b.ca1859), John A. (1861-1925), Mary A. (1864-1949; mar. John A. Byrd), Margaret L. (b.ca1867), and Rachel C. Stuckey, (b.ca1869).  Augustus Stuckey is listed in the 1900 census under his daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Drew.  His military says “Florida Sgt. Co 1, 15 Regt. Cavalry, born November 4, 1821 and died October 18, 1904.”
