David and Mabel were the parents of Henry H. Tart (b.ca1914 FL), and Mildred Tart (1921-1986; married Ralph L. Barley).  They are found in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census of Escambia County.  After his first wife died, D. Henry Tart married Elizabeth McGowan.  Listed in the 1950 city directory is D. Henry Tart is president of Tart Cooper Company, with Arthur B. Rood Vice-President of the company.  David Henry Tart died January 9, 1962.  From Journal Wednesday January 10: “ David Henry Tart… prominent  Pensacola civic and business leader…died Tuesday…established and owned Tart Cooperage Company…born August 23, 1887 in Marion County, South Carolina, and later moved to Jacksonville where in 1908 he was married to Mabel Florence Mann.  She later died and Mr. Tart married Elizabeth McGowan…he came to Pensacola in 1908 where he was placed in charge of the Union Navel stores… survivors: wife, son Henry Jr., daughter Mildred Tart Rood of Pensacola; seven grandchildren; sister Mrs. Gertrude Tart Campbell of Orlando…Fisher-Pou in charge.”  He is buried next  to his first wife Mabel Florence Mann Tart, his second wife Elizabeth McGowan Tart, daughter Mildred Tart Barley and her husband Ralph Lee Barley (one stone),  and an infant of D.H. Tart.
