Born in Cologne, Germany, Theordore Weber came to New York City on 31 Jan 1870 with his first wife while a member of an opera troupe.  Either she died or they became divorced prior to 1880 because that's when he married Anna Marie Reifs.  He moved to Pensacola around 1882 and worked as an artist until his death.  He and Anna had five children, Anna Elizabeth (1883), Dora Weber (1886), Herbert Weber (1888), Robert Arthur (1889).  On 22 Jan 1897, Anna died.  He subsequently remarried Josephine Marie Lorial (aka Mary) on 28 Feb 1902 in New Orleans.  The family resided at 18 W. Intendencia in 1890, but after 1905 moved to 519/521 W. Garden St.

In Pensacola, he excelled as a painter.  Some of his work included the Tarragona (1881), Pensacola Opera House (1882-1883), Redeemer Lutheran Church (1897), and many Mardi Gras floats (including design).  He also taught his children how to paint.
