Claude Wright was born in Hattiesburg, MS in 1904 and died February, 16, 1990, Pensacola, FL.  He was 85 years old and had lived in Pensacola for 70 years.  He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, the Pensacola Masonic Lodge #42, Scottish Rite Pensacola Valley and The Hadji Shrine Temple.  He was a retired fire chief with the city of Pensacola after 33 years of service.  He was also a veteran of World War I.  Survivors include his wife, Nellie Hual Wright; two sons and daughters-in-law, Claude Jr. and Marcia Wright and Tom and Lois Wright; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lil and Mitch Stamatelos and Shirley and Bob Adams; one sister, Vera Robinson; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Funeal services will take place a 2 p.m. Monday in Christ Episcopal Church with Dr. Matt Currin and the Rev. Edward Harrison officiating.  Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Active pallbearers will be John Stamatelos, Tom Wright, Jr., Paul Adams, Mark Thornton, Chuck Hual and Billy Haul.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Nass, Bobby Ellis, J.B. Nelson, Jack Stephens, Eugene Bond, Ken Register, Tom Deloach and Irvin Roberts.
