From the Daily News, Saturday November 18: “Herbert Zerr, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Zerr, died yesterday…age 13...funeral Sunday.”  He is buried in the Zerr family plot.

                John Karl Zerr was born 28 September 1893, son of Frederick A. and Caroline (Hoffman) Zerr.  He married Lucile Stewart.  John Karl Zerr Sr. died November 27, 1977.  From Journal November 28, 1977: John Karl Zerr Sr., 84, died Sunday…native and life long resident…retired refridgerater salesman… survivors: son John Karl Zerr Jr. of Pensacola; two daughter,: Carrie F. Deloney of Pensacola and Modeline O’Arcy of Texas…Fisher-Pou in charge…burial in St. John’s Cemetery.”  He is buried next to his wife in the Zerr family plot.
