~~Marie JacksonAndrews1936 - 2011Marie Jackson Andrews, age 75, of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer.She was born February 2, 1936 in Century, Florida to James Albert Jackson and Constance Marie Jackson. She was educated in Escambia County Public Schools and enjoyed playing the piano.She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Jackson, and great-aunt, Gladys C. Jackson.Survivors include son, Webster Jackson, San Diego, CA; daughters, Donna Butler Gray of Charlotte, NC, Yvonne Andrews of College Park, GA and Felesha Andrews of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, James L. Gray and Charles D. Andrews.The family would like to thank Britthaven of Charlotte, Carillon Assisted Living, Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, doctors Maria Rivell and Christine Sopo-Jones and University Park Baptist Church for their help and support.Cremation services were handled by Alexander Funeral Home of Charlotte, NC. Burial services will be private.
