Andromache"Andrea" Liollio Georgiades of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009.  She had just celebrated her 60th birthday when she suddenly lost her battle against sarcoidosis.  She passed away at her home in Panama City Beach, FL.  Andrea was born in Clarksdale, MS on August 10, 1959.  Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Liollio raised Andrea and her brother, Paul in the Greek Orthodox Faith.  In 1956, the family moved from Mississiippi to Pensacola, FL.  They opened Liollio's Steakhouse on Garden Street, where the family-run business thrived.  Andrea attended Pensacola Junior College.  On November 18, 1973, she married Mr. John Georgiades, born in Glossa, Skopelos in Greece.  They continued with the family restaurant, operating two additional Liollio's locations-one in Fort Walton Beach and one in Navarre.  Andrea and John instilled strong Greek family values within their two children, Dimitri and Magdalene Georgiades.  Andrea devoted much of her time and efforts to the Greek Orthodox Churches in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach.  She had a huge role in creating a successful local chapter of the Daughters of Penelope, and she helped to instruct one of the best Greek Youth Dance Groups.  In addition, Andrea was a talented tennis player and an amazing artist.  Most recently, Andrea owned and operated Yianni's Seagrove Grill in Seagrove, FL.  Andrea is survived by her husband and her best friend, Mr. John Georgiades, her son, Dimitri Georgiades and his wife Jennifer Georgiades, her daughter, Magadalene Georgiades, and her parents, John and Magadelene Liollio.  She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.  The funeral service will be held at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Pensacola at 11:00 am Tuesday, and her body will be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery,  The pallbearers will be John Pappadimitriou, Dimitri Pappadimitriou, Tommy Poulous, George Makris, Angela Alexakos, Dean Pallas, Preston Pallas, John Christou, Peter Bithos and John Tringas.  We thank everyone who has helped in planning these services.  Also for those considering sending flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in the name of Andrea Georgiades to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.  Please contact the funeral home at 850-432-8534  with futher questions.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
