Elizabeth Lewis Oliver was born July 17, 1904, and died June 15, 2002. From Journal Tuesday June 18: “Miss Elizabeth Oliver died Saturday…life long resident…second grade teacher at N.B. Cook Elementary for over 40 years…survivors: nephew Kirke Beall…Waters & Hibberts in charge.” She is buried in the C.W. Oliver family plot.  She was a longtime volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital and a member of The Cathedral of The Sacred Heart.  She is survived by her nephew Kirke Beall and numerous great nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at The Cathedral of The Sacred Heart with Msgr. Michael Reed officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday.  The Rosary will be recited at 6 P.M. Wednesday at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cathedral of The Sacred Heart or The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604.  The family wishes to extend special thanks to Fred and Bonnie Davis, Percy Thomas, the sitters of Caring Hands People Agency and the Staff at The Haven of Our Lady of Peace.
