Harry P. (H.P.) Edwards, Sr. 1919-2002, 83 of Pensacola died Friday, October 25, 2002, at a local hospital.  Mr. Edwards was a native and life long resident of Pensacola.  He was an active member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church;  served as the Vice-President for C.H. Overman, C.E. and Associates for over 50 years.  He served in the Army Corps with the 15th Air Force during World War II in Italy.  He is survived by his wife, Jean Edwards; three sons, Paul Edwards, Jr., (Paula) of Austin, Texas, Michael Edwards of Pensacola, Fl. and Terry Edwards, (Cathy) of Pace, Fl., a brother, John K. Edwards, Jr. and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Edwards; sister-in-law, Frances Edwards; a former daughter-in-law and dear friend, Lydia Edwards; seven grandchildren, Jason, Garrett, Callie, Daren, Katherine, Laine, and Christopher Edwards.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Paster Robert Rupp officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
