Thomas W. E. Edwards, 80 of Pensacola died Thursday, December 4, 1997.  Mr. Edwards was a life long resident of Pensacola.  He was an active member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church and an Honorary Member of the St. Mark/Berrean Sunday School Class.  He was a member of the Escambia Masonic Lodge #15 for 55 years.  Mr. Edwards was a very devoted Chapter Dad for Escambia Chapter Order of DeMolay for 15 years, and was very instrumental in forming many DeMolay Chapters in Northwest Florida.  He retired in 1981 from the Escambia County Tax Collector's Office.  Mr. Edwards served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.  Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Frances B. Edwards of Pensacola; two sons, Woody Edwards of Dallas, TX and Allen Edwards of Tallahassee; brothers, John K. Edwards, Jr. and Harry P. Edwards both of Pensacola; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 8, 1997 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert C. McKibben and Rev. Clifford Abbott officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Matt Langley Bell, III, Pat Donnelly, James Kirkland, Bill Sutton, Bill Crooke, and Jack Horne.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior DeMolay's Masonic Brethren and the St. Mark/Berrean Sunday School Class.  Harper-Morris is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the St. Mark United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2203 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32501.
