Hilda B. Ennis, 89 of Pensacola died Wednesday, May 21, 1997.  She was a life time resident of Pensacola, born September 25, 1907.  She graduated from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1927 and retired as Assistant Director of Nurses at University Hospital in Pensacola.  Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Joan Ennis of Gulf Breeze; a step daughter and husband, Joyce and Fred Coxwell of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Stephen and Beth Ennis of Pensacola Beach, Jonathan Ennis of Gulf Breeze and Fred Coxwell of Mobile,AL; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Allen C. Born, Sr. of Pensacola.  A special thank you to Dr. Henry Young and the many healthcare employees for their kindness and care.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 23, 1997 at Harper- Morris Funeral Chapel with Mr. Fred Tate, Minister officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Stephen Ennis, Brett Barrow, Jonathan Ennis, Wayne Born, Scott Barrow and Henry Born.  Harper-Morris Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway Church of Christ Building Fund or the Baptist Healthcare Foundation.
