J JOEL CHAMBLESS “J. C.” HORNE Joel Chambless “J. C.” Horne, 82, of Pensacola died Thurday morning at a local hospital. Mr. Horne was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was a lifelong member of the First Methodist Church and was a member of the Men’s Bible Class. He was retired from Pace-Holland Company. Survivors include his wife, Jean Yonge Horne of Pensacola, FL; a son, Joel H. Horne of Marietta, GA; a daughter, Joan Guarino of Springfield, VA; two brothers, John W. Horne of Richmond, VA and Charles H. Horne of Pensacola, FL; three sisters, Katie C. Willis, Edna Horne and Lynn Pennell, all of Pensacola, FL and four grandchildren. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Henry Roberts and Rev. Robert Mackey officiating.
