Son of Herbert and Martha (Shoemaker) Pritchett, Harvey G. Pritchett was a man with deeply held core values: God, country, family, community. He demonstrated his love of God through daily devotion, kindness, quietness, and generosity to others. He always voted and was outspoken about his political beliefs. He never missed a chance to compel others to do the same. He cherished his southern upbringing and the legacy of service to others which was lived daily in his family life. He always put the needs of his family above his own. He never asked anyone to do anything he had not or would not do himself. His best friend was his spouse- Susan. His example and leadership contributed to improving his spouse's relationship with God. His favorite pastime was driving with his wife on Pensacola Beach, listening to music-especially Southern Gospel, praise and worship, and country/western Gospel. Harvey served as a volunteer fireman, Search and Rescue, Red Cross, National Federation of the Blind. His family looks forward to being reunited with him in heaven. | |
