Patricia Ann Campbell, 81 of Pensacola, FL., passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Patricia Ann Campbell is the daughter of Lelia Mai Campbell and Thomas B. Campbell, Sr. She was born on September 4, 1941 at the Old Sacred Heart Hospital on 12th Avenue in Pensacola, FL. She was the youngest of six children. She attended George Stone Hallmark Elementary School, named for her great grandfather and other local schools. She and her mother were active volunteer workers for the March of Dimes. Yearly she decorated cakes for the annual March of Dimes program. The cakes were placed at area restaurants and customers decorated with money. This project earned considerable funds for birth defects research. Pat later served on the March of Dimes Board. Pat was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wright Street in Pensacola, FL. She was a decedent of the Church founders. There she helped with Camp Happy Sands, Braille, LWML, Senior Saints, Youth Program, Alter Guild, Oatmeal Breakfast for the area homeless and was Fellowship Chairman. She was a lifelong care giver to her family and dedicated to the service of others. Although she had no children, she is survived by nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. She had been residing at Solaris Nursing Home for over a year. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. |
