Joseph O. Quigley, 70 of Inverness died Thursday, October 31, 1996, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pensacola and lived most of his life here, moving to Inverness two years ago. Joseph was the son of E.E. Quigley Sr., and Christina Villenueve Quigley. His working years were spent in the family business, Quigley Electric Company. He was a former member of Richard's Memorial United Methodist Church in Pensacola. Survivors include his daughter, Jane Kennedy of Bonifay; stepdaughter, Paula Ernest of Pace; stepson, Roger T. Yohn of Gonzalez; brother, E.E. Quigley, Jr.; grandchildren, Kimberly and Michael Kennedy, Ricky and Sonia Ernest, Nancy Alteri, Carol Talamo, Wendy Thompson and Jennifer McAnally; and nephews, Clarence, Douglas, Bobby and Edward Quigley, III. Mr. Quigley leaves a devoted uncle, Ken Quigley, and other friends and relatives in Pensacola and a special friend and relative, Gladys R. Daw. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Harper-Morris Chapel with the Rev. Winston Jay officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. |
